Nebulaquest inc. develops a high-level C++ game engine, named Opalium which is mainly used in White Birds Productions titles. It provides a high-level, fast, and flexible game programming environment without sacrificing speed and functionalities.

Opalium is mainly based on its powerful game editor. Its paradigm is what you see and play in the editor is what you get in the final released game, except that the editor shows additional coding informations. Click on Screenshots link to have more informations.

Its developement started in 2004, and thus it is now a stable and mature game engine, which has been employed in several PC titles. The left part of this page shows some games released with Opalium game engine.

Next evolution of the engine will bring it on Mac platform.
